Announcing our Eat & Drink Downtown Program

The Downtown Athens Development Authority is launching an “Eat & Drink Downtown” initiative to encourage Athens area residents to patronize downtown bars and restaurants. Those who spend $100 or more in a downtown bar or restaurant will receive a $25 downtown Athens gift certificate, redeemable at downtown businesses. Tourism Development Matching Grant Announced

The Athens Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB), the Classic Center, and the Classic Center Foundation have unveiled a new matching grant program dedicated to the development of  new tourism products and experiences that will attract new overnight visitors to Athens-Clarke County.

Applications are due by April 17, 2017.

Downtown Gift Certificates

It’s not too late to order your downtown gift certificates! Order by Wednesday, December 20, to be sure your certificates arrive in time.
