Parking Decks:
Try parking in the decks! The first hour is free in both the College Avenue and Washington Street decks, after which it’s just $2.00/hour. Or enjoy the convenience of monthly parking. Come by the Parking office at 287 College Avenue to sign up for a monthly permit.
Streetside Parking:
Metered parking is monitored and enforced Monday through Saturday, 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m. Rates are $3.00 per hour, meters are monitored from 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m. Metered spaces allow a maximum of two hours between 8:00 a.m. – 6:oo p.m. After 6:00 p.m., you may purchase additional time.
Downtown parking is free on the following days: New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, July 4th, Labor Day, Indigenous Peoples’ Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
Other ways to get around:
Downtown Athens is pedestrian-friendly and has plenty of bike racks. Longer trip? Why not try the bus?

Park in our decks for 2026 UGA football! Call 706-613-7978 for more information on parking options. UGA football season parking passes are $350. Single gameday parking $50. First-come, first-served.
