Athens Banner Project

ADDA – with partnering organizations the Athens Institute for Contemporary Art (ATHICA), the Lyndon House Arts Center, Creature Comforts’ Get Artistic program, tiny ATH gallery, the Georgia Museum of Art, the Athens Cultural Affairs Commission, the Athens Area Arts Council, the Athens-Clarke County Arts Division, and Flagpole Magazine – is delighted to announce Athens Banner Project. Athens Music Walk of Fame

Athens Cultural Affairs Commission, ADDA, and Athens-Clarke County Public Works will launch the Athens Music Walk of Fame to honor Athens musicians and bands in the summer of 2020. The first ten honorees will be announced in June. Artist Allen Sutton will design the plaques.

Emergency Assistance for Small Businesses

The Small Business Administration is providing federal emergency loans via the CARES Act for small businesses affected by COVID 19.

The SBA is also offering Economic Injury Disaster Loans and Loan Advances. Small business owners in Athens are eligible to apply for loans up to $2 million and loan advances (do NOT need to be repaid) read more >
