Downtown Athens Rolls out New Parking App
Athens Downtown Development Authority (ADDA) and Downtown Athens Parking System (DAPS) will be implementing a new app for Downtown parking. Parking payment via app will go into effect Spring 2026.
The new app will make parking Downtown even more efficient. Just download the app and set up an account with your credit or debit card and your car’s information. Payment via app is currently available on Dougherty Street, but will eventually replace all Downtown metered on-street parking.
The College Ave. and Washington St. Decks continue to accept cash payments, as well as credit/debit cards.
